Sing along to your favourite Christmas tunes at the Mayor’s Christmas Carols at the Broadwater Parklands.

Time: Interactive kids fun from 2pm, with the main show at 5pm, and a spectacular fireworks display at 9pm.

Recognised as the premier Christmas event on the Gold Coast, the event promises an impressive line-up of musical talent and fun and games for everyone. Presented by Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast, the night will be headlined by singing superstars Christine Anu, Emma Pask and Prinnie Stevens.

Support acts also making their mark on stage include:

  • The Paradise Kids Choir featuring Luke Harrison
  • Petrina Zaphir
  • Candice Dianna
  • The Lamplights
  • Swing Central.

The free event is hosted by Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast Ambassador Shelley Craft, and will boast a bunch of food trucks, a special Smurfs Christmas show for the little ones, and of course an appearance by Santa Claus himself.

The main show kicks off at 5pm, with interactive kid’s fun commencing at 2pm. A spectacular fireworks display will light up the night sky at 9pm.

Catch the G:link to Broadwater Parklands or make your journey active and walk, ride, scoot or skate.

Parking options

There is limited parking available onsite at Broadwater Parklands. Free parking is available from 3pm at the following surrounding carparks:

  • Carey Park Carpark – Marine Parade
  • Athol Paterson Carpark – Suter Street
  • Mal Burke Carpark – Hicks Street
  • Cloyne Road Carpark – Cloyne Road

Australia Fair Car Park (Marine Parade) will have three hours free parking then paid parking for a $6 flat rate (exit before midnight) for patrons attending the event.
