This winter CBD Sundown is keeping you warm with a series of intimate (free) events across our favourite SOPO venues on Friday 24 June.

Which adventure will you choose?

Fancy unwinding with a Paint & Sip at CSi Club Southport with our friends from Pinot & Picasso Gold Coast?

Or how about learning the pinching and pressing technique of clay building with a Clay & Sip hosted by The Craft Parlour at the quaint Heeretea?

Or perhaps you’re keen to play the timeless game of (Drag Queen) bingo at SOPO Brewing Co, hosted by three of the Coast’s best Queens, Natasha St James, Dixie Wrecked and Ivvy Monroe.

Did we mention that each adventure includes finger food? Think mini sliders, chicken wings and charcuterie boards, delicious!

Paint & Sip @ CSi Club Southport

What a way to end the week, with a free Paint & Sip! Our friends at Pinot & Picasso Gold Coast will be hosting an intimate evening at CSi Club Southport on Friday 24 June 2022 from 6pm to 9pm (doors open at 5.30pm).

Not only will you take home your very own masterpiece, but they’ll be also be live acoustic music and finger food (delicious!) ALL.FOR.FREE!

Clay & Sip @ Herretea Southport

Fancy learning the pinching and pressing technique of clay building? The Craft Parlour will be hosting Clay & Sip at Heeretea Southport on Friday 24 June 2022 from 6pm to 8pm (doors open at 5.30pm).

You’ll get to take home not 1 but 3 unique clay wall hangings using non-fire clay and you’ll learn the fundamentals of clay building. There’ll also be live acoustic music and finger food (delicious!) ALL.FOR.FREE!

Drag Queen Bingo @ SOPO Brewing Co.

Drag Queen Bingo Gold Coast has been entertaining locals for five years with their numerical and musical extravaganza that’s themed to popular music guaranteed to get your feet tapping! Hosted by three of the Coast’s best Queens, Natasha St James, Dixie Wrecked and Ivvy Monroe, Drag Queen Bingo will be held at SOPO Brewing Co. on Friday 24 June 2022 from 6pm to 8pm (doors open at 5.30pm). This new event concept by City of Gold Coast will see activations in Southport CBD’s live music venues and forgotten spaces where patrons from near and far can immerse themselves in the surprise and delight of creative pop-ups, live art, musicians, performers and local food and bars showcasing their talents.

Held on every last Friday of the month, subject to change of course.
