Australia Day Long Weekend at The Beer Garden

Celebrate Australia Day this year at the Gold Coast’s most famous Beer Garden!

They will have live music every day, a huge selection of beers on tap, amazing cocktails, an Aussie BBQ and giant lawn game competitions with heaps of prizes to be won!

This year is once again showcasing local talent on the main stage. The night will boast delicious food vendors, the JJ Richards ‘Aussie Activities Zone’ including water play and art activities, as well as beach volleyball on the foreshore.

So pack your sunscreen, hat and a picnic rug and gather your family and friends for a wonderful afternoon of food, fun and live music. Bring your own water bottle and visit the free water refill station to stay hydrated!

Australia Day at Sanctuary Cove

Sanctuary Cove Marine Village is gearing up to celebrate a fun-filled afternoon on Sunday the 26th of January 2020.

Australian inspired menus will be on offer at Cove Tavern and Anchor Buoy, while the IGA will be putting on a mouthwatering Aussie barbeque with all the favourite Australia Day classics. To top off a perfect lunch, a Gelato cart will be on hand serving up delicious scoops in return for a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to Queensland RFS, New South Wales RFS, Victorian CFA and WIRES.

Live music will be playing throughout the afternoon. There will be plenty of fun for little ones including a shaded inflated obstacle course, keeping kids entertained and challenged all day long, while face painters will give them plenty of choices for cheek art, a full-face character or an Australia Day inspired design.
